Brendan Guildea joins the Institute

The Institute of Education is delighted to welcome two of Ireland’s leading and most experienced maths teachers, Brendan Guildea and George Humphrey, to our school.

Brendan Guildea has taught maths, applied maths, and physics to both Leaving and Junior Certificate student’s levels since 1973. Brendan is the co-author of “New Concise Project Maths” and the “Less Stress More Success” revision books for the Project Maths syllabus.

As one of Ireland’s foremost maths teachers, Brendan features regularly in the media, leading discussions on maths teaching, exams and syllabus.

George Humphrey is the author of several bestselling textbooks and revision books for maths and delivers Project Maths workshops and seminars throughout Ireland for teachers and students.

Brendan and George will be teaching Leaving Certificate Higher Level Maths in both our full-time day school and on our part-time intensive courses throughout the year.

We would like to welcome both Brendan and George to our school and wish them every success in their new positions.
