As part of the Higher level Biology course, during the Easter Revision course you will cover the following topics:

English (H)

As part of the Higher level English course, during the Easter Revision course you will cover the following topics from Paper 1 & 2:

Day 1 – Paper 1:

  • A study of the 6 languages of English needed for Paper 1 – the language of information/language of narration/aesthetic language.

Day 2 – Paper 1:

  • Continuation of the study of language – the language of argument/ persuasion/ visual.

Day 3 – Paper 2:

  • An introduction to the Comparative Question – a look at all the modes for 2022.

Day 4 – Paper 2:

  • How to study an Unseen poem – and how to to answer the questions.

 

French (H)

This course gives a comprehensive overview of key elements of the Leaving Certificate Higher Level French syllabus.

Topics from:

  • Grammar: 5 core tenses
  • Reading and Listening Exam techniques and vocabulary
  • Written production: Narrative story, Diary entry, Opinion piece, Fax/Email

 

Irish (H)

As part of the Higher level Irish  course, during the Easter Revision course you will cover the following topics:

This class provides an opportunity for students to consolidate prior learning and maximise their potential for exam success.

A:       This course is intended to be 4 days long, but students can advance at a faster or slower rates based on their own needs.

 

Q: Is it possible to receive copies of the Institute’s class notes?

A:       Yes. Our online classes are supported by the Institute’s exam-focused class notes which will be delivered to students homes FREE of charge. Please allow five working days for delivery.

 

Q: How will I access my online courses?

A:       We will email you a link to the live classes for which you are enrolled, along with a unique password. Please allow one working day from time of booking.

 

Q: Who do I contact if I have difficulty accessing my online classes:
