We were delighted to host our final guest lecture of the term yesterday, when Roisin Kiberd visited the school to deliver her unique insights into the poetry of Brendan Kennelly to our 6th year students.

A past pupil of The Institute of Education, Cambridge and Trinity College graduate and much sought-after freelance writer, Roisin gave an inspiring talk on the Irish poet, one of the selected poets for Leaving Certificate 2019. At the end of the lecture, she also distributed a set of exam focused notes to all students in attendance.

Thanks to Roisin for visiting our school and giving such an excellent series of talks- we hope to welcome her back to the Institute next year!
