Our 5th year student Niamh Ní Iceadha has got through to the regional finals of Junk Kouture 2016. Junk Kouture is a national contest which encourages young designers in second level education to create striking couture designs and impressive works of wearable art from everyday junk.
Niamh’s creation ‘Going Postal’ was created from over 4,500 stamps sourced from 140 countries and took 7 months to create.
You can vote for Niamh’s creation now on the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Facebook page. Voting closes on Thursday evening. The Eastern regional finals will take place in the Helix in Dublin on March 7th. Wishing Niamh all the very best of luck!
