4th year students gathered at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross on Sunday 26 November for the annual ‘Light Up A Life’ ceremony.
Students were selling candles for the remembrance service which was central to the event, and all proceeds went towards invaluable services at the hospice.
Although the weather was cold, performances from the Palestrina Choir and the CIE Male Voice Choir served to warm the crowd up. Guest of honour Daniel O’Donnell also lit up the Christmas tree, which is one of the largest in Ireland.
We are delighted to have had the opportunity to take part in such an important and memorable event. We are also very thankful to MC Ian Dempsey for acknowledging our students hard work in front of a huge crowd.
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services work around the clock to provide high quality, person-centred health and social care services in the Hospice and community. You can donate towards their work here.
