The results are in and we’re delighted to say that it has been another record breaking year for students at The Institute of Education, with more of our pupils progressing to third-level colleges and universities than any other second-level school in Ireland.
The figures below, which are collated as part of the 2016 league table’s process, show the numbers of students progressing to third-level institutions across Ireland in 2016.
Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin both figure very highly in the results, with 176 and 139 students progressing to each of these leading universities respectively. 49 students progressed to DCU and 42 to NUIG.
We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements in the 2016 Leaving Certificate. They show that with hard work, commitment and dedicated, experienced teachers you can achieve great things.
