Congratulations to 5th year student Hannah Kissane, who has won a silver medal for Ireland at the European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO).
Hannah was part of a 3-person team which took part in the competition that was held in Portugal last week.
EUSO is a team-based science competition for students from the European Union. Its aim is to challenge and stimulate gifted science students to develop their talents and interest in natural sciences.
Each participating country sends two 3-student teams to the final round, which takes place during one week every year in different countries within the EU.
This was an outstanding performance by Hannah and her team-mates and we’d like to congratulate them all on their impressive achievement!
