12 students from the Institute will be taking part in the SciFest science fair in April. The students will be working on their science, technology, maths and engineering related projects over the next number of weeks and we’ll be checking in on them to see how their projects are progressing over the next few weeks.
SciFest is the largest and most inclusive science fair initiative on the island of Ireland. Since launching in 2008, over 60,000 second level students have participated in the competition. SciFest aims to give students of all abilities the opportunity to develop research, problem solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
