Dr. Frank Kehoe is a Computer Science and Design teacher with over 20 years’ experience at Post Primary and Further Education. He has lectured part-time at third level at Maynooth University, Hibernia College and Griffith College. He has also worked as an examiner with the State Examinations Commission (SEC).
Frank was seconded to the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) in 2017 to work on the new Leaving Certificate subject in Computer Science. This involved the design, development and delivery of a two-year programme of continuous professional development for teachers of the new Leaving Certificate Computer Science subject. He is passionate about Computer Science Education and continues to be involved in its development as a second level subject in Ireland.
Frank has a keen interest in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL). He has several years’ experience of blended and online learning and continues to practice and promote the good use of technology in the classroom for teaching and learning.
