Students Enterprise Awards Workshop

Danny Miele from Enterprise Ireland came in last Friday to talk to our 4th year students about running a business, and what it means to take part in the Student Enterprise Awards.

Idea creation, research and financing were some of the topics covered in the 1.5 hour workshop. The students looked at some interesting examples from past participants and brainstormed ideas for businesses.

The students will be working on their ideas over the coming weeks, and we’ll be revisiting them in the New Year to see how their businesses are progressing.

The Student Enterprise Programme (SEP) is Ireland’s largest and most successful student enterprise programme. Over 23,000 students each year from 1st year to 6th year take part by setting up and running a student business and find out what it is really like to be an entrepreneur.
