Ciara Coleman is a music educator and choral conductor with over ten years of teaching experience. Following her undergraduate music degree at Trinity College Dublin, she obtained a Masters in Music Pedagogy at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary, graduating with distinction. She spent seven years teaching music and choir in Scotland, notably as a musicianship tutor and conductor with the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS). During this time she also taught at the University of Edinburgh and at the internationally renowned St Mary’s Music School. Ciara graduated with First Class Honours from the Professional Masters in Education (PME) at Trinity College Dublin in 2018, where her teaching practice was rated ‘Outstanding.’
Ciara is a regular guest teacher at Colorado State University, USA, where she teaches on the Masters in Kodály Music Pedagogy course, and is an assistant conductor with the National Girls Choir of Scotland.
