Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family makes, and we want to make sure the process of applying to us is as straightforward as possible.

Whether you are ready to apply now or just starting to explore your options, we are here to help. We will guide you through every step, answer any questions you have along the way, and make sure you have everything you need to make the right decision for your family.

The Admissions Process

It’s important for us that you will feel at home in The Institute. And what should be equally important is how you feel about us! Therefore we have set up our Admissions process to ensure that everything fits together correctly.

(1) Submit Your Application

The first step is completing our application form, below, accompanied by your most recent school reports and exam results. The whole thing takes about ten minutes and our admissions team will come back to you within a week.

Students applying to our full-time school must have have a minimum of 6 Grade C’s or Merit in Higher/Common Papers in the Junior Cycle exam or equivalent for overseas students.

Please Note

Application forms must be accompanied by copies/scans of the following documents;

FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN 3RD YEAR: A copy of the 2nd Year Summer Report AND a copy of the 3rd Year Christmas Report.
FOR ALL OTHER STUDENTS: A copy of the most recent school report and a copy of the Junior Cert AND mock results.
FOR REPEAT LEAVING CERT STUDENTS: A copy of the Leaving Cert Results that includes student’s name AND a copy of the LC Mock Report.

(2) Come In for an Interview

Once your application has been reviewed, you and your parents or guardians will be invited in to meet an admissions officer. It’s a conversation, not a test; a chance for us to get to know you and it’s also the perfect chance for you to find out if this is the right school for you.

(3) Offer of Place

Following your interview, places will be offered to successful candidates. A deposit secures your place and our admissions team will guide you through everything you need to do from there.
