John Sheahan is an experienced educator and educational leader with over 16 years of post-primary teaching experience. A qualified Business and Accounting teacher, he has earned a strong reputation for fostering positive student relationships, promoting academic excellence, and supporting student wellbeing. During his time at St. Louis High School, Rathmines, John held a variety of teaching and leadership roles.
John holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management from Maynooth University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Business) from the University of Limerick, and an Honours Degree in Accounting from Institute of Technology Carlow. His commitment to nurturing confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning was recognised through the NUI Maynooth Access Programme Inspirational Teacher Award
