Welcome to Week 7 of The Buzz Newsletter!
It’s Week 7 of The Buzz Newsletter, and our community sharing wellbeing activities start today and run for the next two weeks! Our first activity is ‘Two Sentence Horror Stories’, and we invite students to submit their Two sentence Horror Stories to the email on page 1. Entries will be alternated on the screens around the school in the run up to Halloween and the winning entry will be featured in the yearbook. Check out The Buzz below for some inspiration!
We held our annual golf outing on the 27th September at Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnham. 14 students from 4th, 5th & 6th year participated, with some great golf played on the day. Congratulations to the winners Stellan Frost, Conor O’Neill and Evan Turbitt!
This week Orla Ní Shúilleabháin will be delivering after-school Study Skills Seminars online for 5th & 6th years. We strongly recommend attending these as they are intentionally hosted early in the year to ensure you are getting the most out of your valuable study time from the start. All 6th years need to attend at least one in person seminar. You have a final chance to attend this Wednesday at 12:30 in HG-1, rolls have been taken at all seminars.

Masterclasses:
This Monday 14th there is a Biology masterclass with Wesley Hammond for 5th & 6th Years. It is in room 4-8 at 3:30pm. This is rescheduled from last week.
This Tuesday 15th there is a Biology masterclass with Emily Brady. It is for 5th Years and is live online at 7pm. The link is on your Moodle.
