Our Junior Cycle Study Skills Course introduces 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students to the key skills they need to study effectively during the new school year.

Packed full of expert practical advice, this Study Skills Course shows students how to be more productive and efficient with their work and revision, developing important learning skills and good study habits.

Students attend classes onsite at our Leeson Street campus, if attendance at our Leeson Street campus is not possible students may access the classes online. All classes will be available to rewatch until the end of the State Exams 2027.

Meet Your Instructor

Angela Curran is a dedicated and highly experienced guidance counsellor and study skills specialist with 12 years teaching study and exam preparation to second level students. She is one of Ireland’s leading voices in the area, delivering study skills and exam technique programmes to Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle students in schools across the country, as well as through her own private practice. Her workshops cover active revision, study planning and time management, memory and recall, exam technique under time pressure, and managing exam stress, and students leave with a plan they can actually follow.

When does this course take place?

Course 1 : Saturday 26th September and Saturday 10th October from 13:30pm-15:00pm.

Course 2 : Saturday 3rd October and Saturday 17th October from 13:30pm-15:00pm.
