Studying At The Institute

Find Your Pathway

Students can join The Institute of Education at 4th or 5th Year level depending on age and English proficiency. All pathways lead to the same destination: the Irish Leaving Certificate and a place at a top university.

Every teacher at The Institute of Education is a Leaving Certificate specialist. Many are textbook authors and State Examinations Commission examiners who know exactly what the marking schemes require.

A Globally Recognised Qualification

The Irish Leaving Certificate is equivalent to A-Levels and accepted by universities in Ireland, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and beyond.
