Our 4th year students recently went to Mondello Park to participate in the EARLY DRIVE for schools road safety programme.
This is a fantastic experience for our students to do and it is designed to give them the opportunity to learn about driver safety in a hands on and practical way in the safe and extensive facilities of Mondello Park in Kildare.
Students received talk on road safety and got even the chance to experience a break reaction simulator. Each student also received a 20 minute in-car driving lesson with a professional driving instructor, which will no doubt help them in the future if they decide to take their actual driving exam.
Students were treated to a presentation on the history of Modello Park as well as a tour of the facilities onsite including the Museum of Motorsport.
