Welcome to Week 3 of The Buzz Newsletter!
The first round of the Maths Olympiad 2026-27 will take place in room 1-4 from 3:30 – 4:15pm on Thursday, 17th September. If you wish to compete, please let Oliver Murphy know by email at omurphy@instituteofeducation.ie.
Think you know everything there is to know about The Institute? Come along this Friday, 11th September for The Institute Trivia Quiz! The quiz will contain questions ranging from lore about teachers to the number of steps on certain staircases. The quiz will be in 1-7 from 11am-12pm for 4th & 5th years, and S-1 from 12:30-13:30pm for 6th Years.
Our school canteen is located just past the 19-20 building, immediately after the Hatch Street junction. Look out for The Institute blue Canteen sign.
Our 4th Years had a fantastic first outing of the year to Causey Farm on Friday! They were full of enthusiasm for everything from baking to bog jumping and absolutely loved meeting the furry animals. We were delighted to have the sun shining and to see our 4th Years having fun, making friends and great new memories.
