Congratulations to Richard Hogan, Head of 5th year here in The Institute of Education on the publication of his new book Parenting the Screenager: A Practical Guide for Parents of the Modern Child. The book deals with the complicated topic of how to parent our tech-savvy teenagers and monitor their online lives. Children and young adults are spending more and more time on smartphones and other devices which can cause problems. This book aims to help parents monitor and influence the amount of time their children are spending on screens.
Richard appeared on Ireland AM over the weekend to talk about his book and the overall importance of screen-time boundaries. You can watch the interview here. Richard’s book is now available to purchase from bookstores and online.
