Roisin Doyle
Róisín Doyle has a degree in Environmental Science from which she graduated as valedictorian (highest score in the class). Following a period of employment in the pharmaceutical industry, Roisin completed her PGDE at University College Dublin with first class honors. Actively working with the State Examinations Commission in her role as advising examiner and authored mock exam papers for Examcraft, she has a deep understanding of the Leaving Certificate Biology exam.

Author of two Vital Leaving Cert Guidebooks (Biology Experiments and Definitions), Róisín has also taught Biology for the International Baccalaureate® (IB) system in the United Arab Emirates.

Róisín had a role with the State Examination Commission in the pilot project to determine how the Additional Assessment Component (AAC) for the new LC Biology is to be examined.

Roisin has also written articles for The Irish Times on the subject of LC Biology regarding preparation for the Biology exam.

Fun fact: Roisin was also an award recipient in the Social and Behavioural category at the BT Young Scientist in 2002.
