Well done 4th year students, Megan Haughton Martinez and Sean O’Dwyer who were selected to attend this year’s Transition Year Physics Experience (TYPE) in Trinity College Dublin. Megan and Sean spent a week in Trinity, attending lectures and demonstrations on cutting edge areas of physics such as astrophysics and nanoscience. They also created a stunning poster during their time on the TYPE programme, on the topic of quantum dots.
