Study time is an intrinsic part of every successful student’s schedule. Compulsory supervised study periods are built into each full-time student’s daily timetable. In addition, supervised study is available from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and at weekends and on bank holidays.
Students at the Institute are also provided with the right environment to ensure they maximise this valuable time. The study hall in the Institute is large, bright, and continuously supervised, providing a distraction-free environment in an atmosphere that is calm and focused on learning.
Students at the Institute take part in study skills seminars throughout the year.
Seminars are practical and interactive, with a focus on ensuring that every student works to their own personal strengths and develops a study routine that suits their own individual needs.
Learn more about what’s included in these seminars in this short video with our study skills mentor Orla Ní Shúilleabháin.
