Our 6th year Art History students paid a visit to The National Gallery of Ireland this week.
While there they had the opportunity to view the 24 portraits shortlisted for this year’s Zurich Portrait Prize.
The Zurich Portrait Prize is an annual competition showcasing contemporary portraiture.
The competition is open to artists from across the island of Ireland, and Irish artists living abroad.
Our students took great inspiration from the portraits on display.
