It is with great pleasure and pride that we can tell you that the Institute of Education won the Leinster Senior Schools Debating Championship last night in UCD. Competing as a team, 5th Years Dui-Lan Sun and Roisin McCormack performed superbly taking the team trophy. We congratulate the team on their victory which is a result of much practice and superb coaching by David Connolly and Megan O’Driscoll. This fantastic success is part of a phenomenal season of success for the school’s debating program. Next weekend 5th Years Dui-Lan Sun and Millie McCabe fly to Oxford to compete in the Oxford Schools Finals Day. We wish them the best of luck!
