Mella is a passionate teacher with over 20 years experience in a diverse range of schools. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics, as well as a Masters in Food Science. She has previously worked in The Food Safety Authority and has served as an examiner for the State Exams.
Mella’s approach to teaching is characterised by her passion for Home Economics and always seeking to innovate. She fosters creativity, interaction and critical thinking to inspire students. With a teaching philosophy rooted in nurturing a growth mindset, Mella encourages students to embrace challenge, learn from them and to overcome obstacles. With her passion for teaching, she creates a safe and inclusive environment for students to feel valued, respected and supported in everything they do.
