The 6th Year Preparatory Course involves a complete overview of all topics required for all Higher Level Mathematics students to achieve success when moving from 5th year to 6th year. The aim of the course is to remind students of the importance of key areas of Leaving Certificate Mathematics, including Algebra, Logs & Indices, Functions, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Calculus.
Students will engage in detailed classes with expert teachers and get experience of exam paper style questions
This course will be delivered onsite at our Leeson Street Campus, Dublin.

Course Content:
This course will focus on Senior Cycle Higher Level content. Each session will start by reviewing material the students have previously covered and then build up, until they are working on Leaving Certificate Higher Level material. By the end of the course, the students will have met many new concepts and be well prepared for starting into their Senior Cycle Maths Programme in September.
The material covered will be as follows:
- Algebra
- Logs & Indices
- Functions
- Trigonometry
- Geometry
- Calculus
The time for the class is listed below:
Leeson Street: 10:00 to 13:00 daily
Fees for this course is €495.

- Credit Card payments accepted
- 10% reduction for the second and subsequent members of the same family, attending the same courses. Please contact our office to avail of this discount.

A: Yes, recordings of classes will be available after each live class is completed. These can then be replayed as a revision aid.
Q: Are the class notes available online?
A: Yes, all course notes will be available online. A hard copy will also be given out to each student enrolled on the course.
Q: How long is each class on this course?
A: Each class lasts 3 hours per day for the 5 days of the course.
Q: Is attendance at this course monitored?
A: Yes, attendance is monitored for each class attended. The Institute however accepts no responsibility for students who fail to attend class.
Q: Are the classes conducted ‘lecture style’ or are students free to ask questions?
A: Our classes are interactive and our teachers use a variety of methods to ensure that students can ask questions and contribute to the class.
Q: My son/daughter cannot attend the course. Can we buy the notes?
A: No. Teaching is a central part of all our courses. The notes are to facilitate recall and revision of the day’s work covered by the teacher.
