This 4-day Intensive Online Revision course provides 4th year students with expert tuition, high quality notes and key techniques to enable them to achieve their maximum potential in the Leaving Certificate exams.
Students enrolling in this course will receive:
- Daily live and interactive online classes.
- Pre-recorded topic tutorials.
- Recordings of classes to enable students to replay, rewind and re-watch all of their classes.
- These recordings will be available to students until the end of the 2020/21 academic year.
- The Institute’s legendary class notes delivered to their home.
This course has been specifically designed with the student and their academic progression in mind. The topics that will be covered have been exclusively chosen by our expert teachers , in order to cover essential elements of the subject syllabus up to this point. All classes will be supported by The Institute of Education’s legendary class notes. These will be provided free of charge and will be delivered in December, in advance of the course start date. The course will also be available to access up until the end of the 2020/21 academic year.

This course provides an opportunity for students to consolidate prior learning from the Junior Cycle and to obtain an introduction to Leaving Certificate Maths topics.
- Paper 1
Algebra: Factorising, simplifying expressions, solving equations, surd equations
- Paper 2
Coordinate Geometry: Area of a triangle on a coordinated plane, perpendicular distance from a point to a line
This course provides students with an overview of Leaving Certificate Higher Level Biology, allowing them to get a head start on key elements of the Senior Cycle course.

- The Breathing System
This course introduces students to the key requirements of Leaving Certificate Higher Level English.
- Effective essay writing
- Introduction to the Language of Argument and Narration
Both are key concepts on the Leaving Certificate curriculum.
- Introduction to Othello
The Shakespeare play that will be studied by 95% of students for Leaving Certificate 2023.
- Introduction to the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop and WB Yeats
Two of the eight poets prescribed for study in Leaving Certificate 2023.
Building on knowledge from Junior Cycle Irish, this course introduces students to the requirements of the Leaving Certificate Higher Level course.
Intro to the 5 poems on the course.
Focus on theme & emotion.
Overview of optional Drama/ Novel (An Triail) that students can also choose to do for the course.
Intro to prose on the course.
Brief synopsis of theme & main emotion of each.
Useful vocabulary and phrases for essays, debates etc.
- Oral exam
Requirements for the oral exam.
Intro to the 20 picture sequences.
Language for basic topics.

A: Yes. Our online classes are supported by the Institute’s exam-focused class notes which will be delivered to students homes FREE of charge. Please allow five working days for delivery.
