Claire O’Brien is an experienced Science and Maths teacher with nearly 15 years of classroom experience, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Science to Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students.
She holds a First Class Honours degree in Science Education as well as a First Class Honours Professional Diploma in Mathematics. Claire has also corrected Junior Cycle Science examinations for the State Examinations Commission, giving her valuable insight into how students are assessed.
Claire is passionate about helping students understand how topics connect across the curriculum. She focuses on identifying the key learning within each topic and works closely with students to build confidence, deepen understanding, and help them reach their full potential.
