Dearbhla holds a degree in Physiology and a Professional Master of Education from Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated with first-class honours. Prior to entering teaching, Dearbhla worked as part of a clinical team in the health sector, gaining valuable experience in evidence-based health education and the practical application of Biology.
She has experience teaching Biology, Science and Mathematics across a variety of post primary school settings. Drawing on her background in physiology, she helps students connect biological concepts to everyday life while developing the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for success in the classroom. Committed to helping students succeed in Leaving Certificate Biology, Dearbhla places a strong emphasis on clarity, organisation and effective study strategies.
