
Lauren Tyrrell is an English and French teacher at the Institute of Education. She holds an International Degree from Dublin City University and also studied at Université de Rennes II. She was later awarded a Belgian government scholarship to undertake French as a Foreign Language (FLE) training at Université de Louvain-la-Neuve.
She also holds a Master’s in Education from DCU and has taught Cambridge Exams, MYP, IGCSE and IB programmes in international schools across France and Spain. Lauren has served as an oral examiner for the State Examinations Commission and contributed Higher Level French analysis for The Irish Times. Her student-centred approach makes grammar accessible, demystifies written expression and equips students with the tools and confidence to succeed in exams.
