It’s Week 12 of The Buzz Newsletter! Congratulations to 6th Year Joel Emmanuel who represented Ireland at the FIRST Robotics Global Challenge in Panama City recently. The team ranked 8th out of 191 countries – the highest place an Irish team has ever achieved. Well done Joel!
Well done to 6th Year student Harris Mirza who has once again made us proud, winning the bronze certificate in the 2025 International Astronomy and Astrophysics competition. Well done Harris!
A reminder that the school deadline date for applying for UK courses is Friday 28th November 2025. Please book a guidance meeting asap if you have not already done so.
A final reminder to call to Helen Casey’s office in room 2-6A to talk about RACE applications if you have not already done so.
Please note that all RACE applicants need to see Helen Casey in room 2A-6 this week as the deadline for 2026 applications is approaching.
Masterclasses:
- This Thursday, 20th there is a masterclass in Biology with Wesley Hammond. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is in room 4-8 at 4pm.
- This Thursday, 20th there is a masterclass in Economics with Rob Quinlan. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is live online at 6pm. The link is on your Moodle.
