Welcome to Week 26 of The Buzz Newsletter!
It’s Week 26 of The Buzz Newsletter! Congratulations to our Sailing team who came 2nd in the Irish Schools Sailing Leinster Championships on Sunday 8th March. Well done to the team of Brian Carroll, Ben Moreau, Sean Cronin, Peter Kenny, Kate Kenny and Zita Tempany.
The MUN community at The Institute continues to thrive. A group of our students set out to Clontarf for the inaugural Holy Faith Model United Nations. Students were challenged to represent their assigned countries across a wide variety of topics. The event culminated in the General Assembly in which all the delegates reconvene for a final round of rhetoric and voting. The Institute came away with 6 awards in this session. Well done everyone!
The online facility for CAO applications reopened on March 5th at 12pm, if you didn’t apply before 1st February. There is a late fee of €65 and the final deadline to make a new application to the CAO is 1st May at 5pm.
Late RACE application forms are now in Helen Casey’s office in 2-6a.
