Congratulations to Duilleog, the St. Bernard puppy. She is owned by our very own Dr. Michael Casey.
As you can see, Duilleog is a gorgeous St. Bernard puppy, and the judges at Crufts 2023 in the UK agreed. She not only won first in Best Puppy in Breed, but she became a double winner when she was awarded Best Female Puppy too.
We spoke to Michael about Duilleog and he was delighted to see her win two categories at this year’s Crufts event. Duilleog in Irish mean Leaf, but Michael says: “Don’t let the name fool you, she’s a full-time wagon!” We think she’s allowed to be after winning such prestigious awards.
Crufts is an international dog show held annually in the United Kingdom, first held in 1891. Organised and hosted by The Kennel Club (UK), it is the largest show of its kind in the world. This year over 24,000 dogs were competing at the event. This makes Duilleog’s double win even more impressive.
