The L&H Mace took place in UCD’s Newman Building on Saturday October 8th.
Mace debating involves rapid preparations for the debate, with only 15 minutes to brainstorm ideas between the motion being announced and speeches starting. Unable to access online resources or research around the topic, the students need to focus on the fundamental elements of an argument: motive, agents, outcomes etc.
Special congratulations to Dui-Lan Sun and Millie McCabe who were runners-up in the final.
