School Update From Yvonne O’Toole

School Update

Dear Parents & Students,

I hope that you are enjoying the summer holidays. I am sure that all our students are delighted that they can now socialise with their friends and enjoy sports and other activities. After many weeks at home I encourage students to make the most of the summer holidays. It is very important to take a break from study and to meet with friends before we begin the new term.

I would like to provide you with an update on our preparation for the new academic term. The school team are working to ensure that we continue to provide our students with a safe environment to study and learn. We are following the Health Service Executive guidelines closely in preparing the school to welcome our students in September.  New classrooms and lunchrooms have been created for students and our operations team are ensuring that the school is fully prepared for the return of the students.

In planning for the new term we have invested heavily in our IT infrastructure. Providing excellent tuition and support for our students is our priority and we will continue to invest in our school to ensure that students receive the best education in Ireland.

As part of our preparations we have completed our master timetable and we will be inviting students to create their timetable in the coming weeks. Our team will be available to liaise with students, if necessary, regarding the timetable.

We are looking forward to welcoming students at their assembly meeting which will take place during the week of August 31st.  Students will be provided with advice on study skills and guidance support which will be available throughout the year. I will be available to meet with students and to answer any queries that they may have regarding the new academic term.

I will provide a further update at the end of July and I am available to speak with you throughout the summer if you would like to contact me by email or through the school office.

Kind regards,

Yvonne O’Toole
