Welcome to the first edition of The Buzz Newsletter for 2024/25!
This is the first of many Buzzes for the year and each instalment will give news, opportunities, and advice that will help you feel at home in the school. Whether this is your first time through the yellow doors or a return, we are so excited to have you with us this year. While there is always some activity happening in the building, the school only really thrums into life with the arrival of the students. You bring such effervescence and excitement that each September feels fresh and revitalising. Like your school diaries, we have created the template for what is to come but that is only filled by you: your passions, drives and interests.
Writing a new chapter in our lives brings a mix of excitement and anxiety and a new school year is no different. It may take a few days to find your room, learn some routes around the campus and meet your teachers but even then, there may still be much that seems strange to you; twists in the tale that cause you to scrunch paper and chew pencils. For your moments of uncertainty, we are here for you. When you need some sense of direction, we are here for you.
As always, if you have any queries or questions, please call into the 1st floor office. We wish every one of you the very best for the academic year. It is a blank page which you will fill with learning over the coming months. Welcome Back!
