It’s Week 11 of The Buzz Newsletter! Congratulations to 4th Year student Katie Zheng who has secured a place on Team Ireland Debating 2026. The team will represent Ireland at the World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) in July 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya. Good luck Katie!
Congratulations to 5th Year Molly Beecher on winning our annual Halloween two-sentence horror story competition. You can read her short story in The Buzz.
A reminder that Team Hope will be collecting your gifts at 5pm this Wednesday the 12th of November from the 4th Year office.
A reminder that the school deadline date for applying for courses in the UK is Friday 28th November. Book a guidance meeting online if you have not already done so.
Please note that all RACE applicants need to see Helen Casey in room 2A-6 this week as the deadline for 2026 applications is approaching.
Masterclasses:
- This Wednesday, 12th there is a French masterclass (Tenses) with Carole Oiknine. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is live online at 5pm. The link is on your Moodle.
- This Thursday, 13th there is an Irish (Poetry) with Rachel Mahon. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is in room 1-4 at 5pm.
