Welcome to Week 2 of The Buzz Newsletter!
This week marks the beginning of lunchtime and extracurricular clubs, and there is a great variety to choose from. From Film Club to Bridge and Table Tennis to Robotics, there is something for everyone. The after-school clubs are available to all years, while the lunchtime clubs are limited by your timetable. As we firm up the timetable in September, we will keep you updated on the digi-screens and here in The Buzz.
There is a Golf outing for students this month on the 27th September (school holiday). It is open to any student with an official Golf Ireland handicap index. The cost is €15 per student, which is subsidised by the school (includes green fee, lunch and prizes).

The deadline for submissions for the 2024 BT Young Scientist Exhibition is approaching on 27th September. If you would like to submit a project then please contact Catriona Hendry to discuss your ideas.
Masterclasses:
This Monday 9th there is Biology masterclass with Wesley Hammond for 5th & 6th Years. It is in person in room 4-8 at 3:30pm. The recording will be on Moodle.
This Thursday 12th there is an Irish masterclass with Luke Rock for 5th & 6th Years. It is live online at 6pm. ink is on your Moodle.
Reminder:
This Wednesday the 11th September is the final deadline for submitting timetable changes.
