Welcome to Week 20 of The Buzz Newsletter!
It’s Week 20 of The Buzz Newsletter! The Institute of Education choir is seeking new members! The choir meets every Friday at 3:30pm in the music room and sing a wide variety of songs. The highlight of the year is performing at the 6th Year Graduation in O’Reilly Hall UCD. If you would like to get involved, please email music teacher Ciara at ccoleman@instituteofeducation.ie.
Well done to 6th Year student Ishani Acharya on continuing her work with Better Internet for Kids (BIK) this year, building on her fantastic contributions to last year. Recently, Ishani travelled to Brussels as a member of the BIK Youth Advisory Group, representing Ireland at the Safer Internet Forum.
Our 4th Years had a fantastic time at Mondello Park last week – despite the rain! Every student got the chance to drive on the race track, and develop essential driving skills. The day also included a road ready session packed with tips for passing the theory test, as well as a break reaction test. At the end of the day each student received a certificate of completion, another highlight in a year full of fantastic opportunities for our 4th Years!
