It’s Week 3 of The Buzz Newsletter! Volleyball, Basketball and Chess are all starting this week! These are free for any student to join and are a great way to make new friends and have fun!
This Friday 12th September, 4th years will participate in ‘A Day in My Wheels’, an initiative to raise awareness of the difficulties experienced by wheelchair uses accessing our city centre footpaths and parks. 4th Years are invited to spend one class period navigating the streets around the school in a wheelchair. All for a good cause, this is a fundraiser for Spinal Injuries Ireland, who support people who have sustained a spinal cord injury.
Orla Ní Shúilleabháin will be delivering this year’s Study Skills Seminars, see The Buzz for the schedule for new 6th Years.
Masterclasses:
- This Thursday, 11th September, there is a Biology masterclass with Emily Brady. It is for 5th & 6th Year students and is live online at 7pm. The link is in your Moodle.
