It’s Week 6 of The Buzz Newsletter, there are some more student successes to celebrate this week: 5th Year student Chloe Collins represented Ireland in the Junior Four Nations tounament 2024. Ireland’s most talented players competed against their peers from England, Scotland and Wales at Donnybrook Lawn Tennis Club from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September. Congratulations Chloe, we look forward to seeing your future endeavours!
Congratulations also to 5th Year student Stellan Frost and his team, the Bray Golf Juniors, who won the Wicklow junior competition. A high handicapper was paired with a low handicapper (Stellan was the low handicapper) and had 5 pairings per team. They won the final 4-1 against Blainroe. Congratulations Stellan!
The Canteen opened it’s doors last week. It was a successful first week for Gillian and her team. The Canteen is supplying great quality, nutritious food at great prices for all our staff and students. The special this morning is Belgian waffles, strawberries and fresh cream. The Canteen is located just past the Hatch Street junction across the road. Look out for the blue “The Canteen” sign. The opening hours are 8am-4pm.
A reminder that if for any reason you can’t make an appointment, please don’t forget to cancel so someone else can avail of the slot.

Masterclasses:
This Monday 7th there is a Biology masterclass with Wesley Hammond for 5th & 6th Years. It is in room 4-8 at 3:30pm.
This Thursday 10th there is an Irish masterclass with Luke Rock. It will focus on ‘An Chopail,’ and is for 5th & 6th Years. It is live online at 6pm. The link is on your Moodle.
