It’s Week 9 of The Buzz Newsletter! Congratulations to Lexie Burke who won the ITF World Taekwondo Championships 2025 last week in Croatia! This is a remarkable achievement for an 18 year old, well done Lexie!
Every year the Irish Society of Human Genetics (ISHG) awards best essay and best video for their DNA competition. Incredibly this year, both categories were won by Institute students. Best Video was awarded to 6th Year Tudor Neascu, and Best Essay to 6th Year Aditi Kadam. Well done guys!
This Thursday, 23rd our annual Futures Fair for 6th Year students is taking place. It will feature a host of representatives from Ireland’s top universities and colleges. It takes place from 5-7pm.
RACE application forms will be available this week. Please make an
appointment with Helen Casey or drop in from 8.30am – 9.30am in
room 2-6A.
Masterclasses:
- This Wednesday 22nd, there is a Biology masterclass with Chloe Griffin. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is at 4:30pm in room G-1.
- This Thursday 23rd, there is a masterclass in Biology with Anne-Marie Walsh. It is for 5th & 6th Years and is live online at 5pm. The link is on your Moodle.
