Eve McMahon, a 6th Year student from The Institute, who completed her Leaving Cert just last month, has once again shown the world what she can achieve. This week, she won gold at the Youth Sailing Championships at The Hague against 55 sailors in here field. What an amazing achievement!
Eve is no stranger to sailing success having won the European Championship in her ILCA6 class last week. Later this month, she will also defend her 2021 world title in Texas as she looks forward to becoming one of the biggest names in sailing, not just in Ireland but around the World.
Our school community is extremely proud of Eve, what she has achieved, and her continued success in her sport. We wish her all the very best for her upcoming competition where she will defend her 2021 world title.
