The Buzz newsletter week 5
Welcome to Week 5 of The Buzz Newsletter!

It’s Week 5 of The Buzz Newsletter, we hope you all had a relaxing and revitalising wellbeing day on Friday! There are some student successes to celebrate this week: 6th Year student Sinéad Farrell was part of the U20 Girls Irish Mountain running team who captured bronze at the U20 British & Irish Mountain Running Championships. Well done Sinéad and team! Well done also to 5th Year student Thomas Hayden and 6th Year student Cindy Wang who travelled to London to attend the final of the John Locke Global Essay competition. Thomas and Cindy both received a merit for their essays in the Philosophy and Economics categories respectively. Well done Thomas & Cindy!

The Canteen is now open for students and staff! The Canteen offers excellent coffee at a great price and great quality food. The special this week is Gourmet Sandwich of the day and a cup of soup for €6. The Canteen is located just past the Hatch Street junction across the road. Look out for the blue “The Canteen” sign. The opening hours are 8am-4pm. Gillian and her team look forward to welcoming you all!
